Dear Jessica,
I love how your letters keep getting longer and longer! :)
Except for one thing, you aren't telling me about you! What
are you up to? How's life? And don't tell me it's boring or I'll
refer you to 2 Nephi 9:34. :) I would also like to hear what
you are learning from the Book of Mormon and how you are
applying it. :)
I'll keep an eye out for Sister Cardon and Elder Lowe. It's
cool that you personally know 4 people in or going to this
mission. :)
Wherefore, I say unto thee, that ye are more awesome
than I. And although I can't poke thee now it will surely come
to pass. :)
So I have some things that I would like you to look up. :)
First is a man named Jason Workman. I think he was a Navy
Seal that helped take down bin Laden. Next, I need some
healthy snacks. Ideas and personal input on this one would
be fine. Last, I want you to research the job of a police
investigator. Hours, pay, is a college degree needed, job
description, etc. Thanks. :)
If you have any more questions let me know. :) Hagonet!
-Elder Chipman
p.s. The little missionary paper things you sent me, we learned
how to make them. It was an interesting thing. I'll tell you
about it later. :)

Dear Jessica,
Oh how I enjoy getting your letters. :) They just make my
days even better! :) I messed up your system, MWAHAHAHA!!!
:D Oh Jessica, you are more awesome because you are relying
greatly on the Lord. Before you reply just remember 2 Nephi 9:34.
:)
As for what you should do, after I read the two things you
are thinking about but before I read the locations I thought that
you would really enjoy and excel at being a surgical technician.
Just a thought. :)
So...as you probably recall I don't have the greatest memory,
so if you could remind me about what I said it would be really
appreciated. EX. I don't remember a "promise thing." :) Thanks.
I'm so excited that you are applying the scriptures to you life!
It will bless you so much! I know because it has happened to me.
:) I just want to remind you about the other part of the story of
the Brother of Jared. He thought and worked at his problems then
went to the Lord to make it work. But you are so awesome that
you are already doing that. But if by some half chance you're not,
you're still more awesome than me! :) Two talks that might help
you now are, "Where is the Pavilion" by Henry B. Eyring and
"Receiving Personal Revelation" by David A. Bednar. Both are from
the October Conference. I found these when I was asked to teach
about personal revelation to 50 youth in one of my wards. It's good
stuff!
MWAHAHAHA! You are a smart girl I think you can figure out
what "Hagonet" means. Do you know what "Yaa Teeh" means, the
thing I put at the top of all my emails home? :)
I hope you have a fantastic week and I will try and do the same.
:) Hagonet! :)

Dear Jessica,
I'm glad you make the boxes "Bryson worthy". :) I repeat,
YOU ARE TOTALLY, WAY, BY UP & FAR, WITHOUT A DOUBT
MORE AWESOME THAN ME! PERIOD! END OF STORY! NO CALL
BACKS! :) Yep that covers it. :)
Can you tell me the basic stuff about Boston and Texas.
Who did it? What exactly happened? Did they catch them?
What is the collateral damage? etc.
To correct you question :) I won't be dead, I will be a
resurrected being. :) I would probably keep a lot of it the same.
I don't see a need to change the way Christ created it. It's good
how it is. :) But there would probably be a lot more wolves. ;)
She is going to the best mission ever! What is her name?
(first and last) When does she enter the MTC? English or Spanish?
This is so freaking awesome!
Where are you at in the Book of Mormon? What are you
learning/applying? Something just popped into my head that
might help you but we'll see. So there is a story in the Book of
Mormon that I think kinda relates to you a little bit. Can you
guess what it is? Guess before you keep reading. :) It's the
story of 1st Nephi. You might consider really studying that or
just continue where you are at. Just as long as you are reading
you'll be blessed, I promise. :)
Thanks for the Subway card. The whole game made me think,
so the first letter of each of the last five words in 2 Nephi 9:39. :)
See, I can play this game too!
Thanks again for writing. It really does bring a smile to my
face and it brightens my day. :) I hope everything goes well with
you and hope you can get some answers that you need. Hagonet!

Dear Jessica,
So I hate waiting two weeks to get a letter cause it seems
like everyone writes me at the same time! So I'm going to try
and tweak the system by having two letters in circulation at a
time! MWAHAHAHA!!! :)
On a more serious note, I really want to thank you for the
little , "Don't forget to be awesome" cure you sent me.
It has brought me much happiness on hard days. It has brought me
a laugh a time or two because of the arguments we've had and are
still having. :) By the way, you're still more awesome!
So I'm curious, are you going to be moving into some student
housing? Are you going to transfer colleges?
Just a thought, I think you'd enjoy a talk found on LDS.org by
Elder Bednar. It's called "Recognizing the Spirit". It blew my mind
when I watched it. And who knows, it might help! :)
So I found out something cool about the scriptures and me
today! So I think I've already told you that I'm helping fulfill
Enos's promise. But I found that I'm also helping fulfill a promise
in Helaman! It's in Helaman 15:12-13! :) Sorry I just thought that
was really cool. :)
Thanks again for everything, I really enjoy getting your letters!
:) Hagonet! (Have you figured out what that means yet?)

Dear Jessica,
You opened it in front of you family? That's AWESOME! I'm
really glad they got a kick out of it too! And I was optimistically
surprised when I got a dating application in return. (And yes, I
had fun with it.) :)
Wow, your life is going to change shortly in the future. Tell
your sister and soon to be brother-in-law congrats. :) When you
move you have got to send me your new address. As for the
temple, maybe find a set day and time to go. As for the Book of
Mormon, something we do with the people that we visit is have
them find a set time they can read, like right when they get up
or right before they go to bed, and a certain place where they can
go to read where they won't be distracted like their room or the
living room. Just a thought. :)
I figured you enjoyed putting those packages together. hence
the walls of the box were covered in sticky notes. :) Ya, letters are
all around great aren't they?! I'm glad I still sound the same and
the best part about it is I haven't "said" a word! :) Yes, some
change has happened and is still happening, such as instead of
saying "fetch" I'm trying to say "bubbles". :)
NO NO NO! I AM NOT MORE AWESOME THAT YOU! My henchmen
will strike don't worry! I FINALLY got a haircut! YEAH!!! It's still
not as short as I'd like but it is definitely better. :)
Have any new songs or movies come out? What do you know
about Boston and west Texas? Well until next time :) Hagonet!

This letter was SUPER thick! So I open it up and there is a "Official Return Missionary Dating Application". :) There was a letter in it too which is under the application.
Dear Jessica,
So my trainer gave this to me and I thought it was funny
as crap. :) I'd like you to fill it out and send it back ASAP,
like tomorrow if possible. Follow the rules and have fun with
it. If any of the questions are too awkward to answer, don't
answer them I won't mind. Also please DO NOT send a picture,
that would just make me a little more homesick than I would
like to be. Please send it back ASAP!!
-Elder Chipman
P.S. I think we are good enough friends to send this to you
and you wouldn't be too :) creeped out. Have fun! :)

Dear Jessica,
I never really put two and two together to figure out that I
am closer to home now than I was for all of my training. And I
liked the emphasis on "the people DOWN there". :)
I'm glad to see that you were able to go to the temple and
get some answers. I've always enjoyed going to the temple, at
least we have a temple in our mission.
Ya Navajo is hard but we're lucky because the man who is
teaching us helped translate the Book of Mormon into Navajo.
Interesting dream...very interesting. Did you wake up after
you found out that she was a cannibal or did you kick her trash?
:D
If I get a package, haha. :) I don't know but probably do some
sort of dance. :) Oh, and just so you know the Go-fish game you
sent me has been GREAT! I've played it several times! :)
I really Really REALLY enjoy receiving letters from you. It's fun
to hear how you're doing. Question though, if you're weird what
the crap does that make me?! :)
To be honest with you I actually prefer longer letters as
compared to shorter letters. On a different subject, I still have
PLENTY of henchmen back in WJ.
You may find this funny. :) Guess what one of the hardest
things of my mission is....not having short hair. :) Ahhh! It's driving
me nuts. But such is life sometimes.
So are you reading the Book of Mormon? If so, where are you
at? What's happening? What are you learning? And how are you
applying what you are learning? If not, I encourage you to start. :)
Have you had any fun work experiences lately? Every time we go
to Subway I can't help but laugh to myself when I think of you on
your tip-toes helping people then I walk in and you glare at me. :)
Well I got to go. Thanks for writing. It is always appreciated.

Dear Jessica,
It's ridiculous, it takes 6 days for mail to get here. :O And yeah
for you for crossing another thing off your "ways of arguing" list. :)
I'm excited for you with your anatomy mid-term and spring break trip.
As for your swinging buddy...ya he'll be gone for a while, ;) but he
can still ask questions. So here's mine. Describe, in detail, your worst
dream.
Oh I have PLENTY of henchmen. :) So this is what happens when
my companion and I get mail form someone other than family. We
skip up and down the street and yell with much happiness. :) It's
quite a sight to see and be apart of.
So guess what!!! I'M LEARNING NAVAJO!!! It's crazy hard but crazy
cool. I can roughly sing "I am a child of God" or "God be-awee nishti".
It's so cool.
I want to thank you for writing me. You can really tell who your
real friends are by if they write you while you're away. I really enjoy
your letters and can't wait to get more, not to sound greedy but they
are really nice to get. And honestly I think you are as happy as me
cause I've never seen you with a really sad face and you never complain,
which I do a lot! So it's something I need to work on. Thanks for being
a great friend.

Dear Jessica,
I'm not the awesome one. You are! And how do you know they
wont end up on your car? :)
I did it in when I was in Cali. :)
Thanks for the Birthday Box. I enjoyed it. I took a video of me
opening it that I might be able to send home soon. :) And thanks
for the letter.
I think the best letters I have received from people are when
they talk about what they are doing. If you could do that, that
would be FANTASTIC!
I've learned so much here and I'm loving it! I can't wait to get
out into the field! A lot of my experiences will be on the blog.
I'm so happy to be out here and I love getting letters it's like
Christmas every time you get one and even better when you get a
package! :)
Thanks for being an AWESOME friend.
